E-blog is a weekly exercise for students to upload their learning journey. Each student required to write their learning progress and assignment progress. There will be submission checkpoint for week 4, 8, and 12. Students are required to ensure that each blog entries is in reverse chronological order. Most recent entries should be place at the top of the section.

Students will explore fundamental of fashion and design proportion individually through this project. Students need to demonstrate understanding of design element and proportion through the cut & paste project. Student should complete the project using manual cut & paste technique. Upon completion of this project, students will have a basic understanding of designing in fashion and the process to form an initial design.
Through this project, students will individually delve into the fundamentals of fashion and design proportion. They are required to showcase their comprehension of design elements and proportion by undertaking a cut & paste project, employing manual techniques. By the end of this assignment, students will have gained a foundational understanding of fashion design and the process involved in creating an initial design.
Define history allows students to understand the origin of fashion. Fashion history evolve through era and years. Through this project, student will also learn language and terminology in fashion. This project requires student to analyse and define fashion history in specific era. Each student will be assigned into an era / period of time to studies its fashion background and influence (social, cultural, and historical).
Defining history enables students to grasp the roots of fashion, as it evolves over various eras and years. This project not only imparts knowledge of fashion history but also familiarizes students with the language and terminology used in the fashion industry. Within this project, students are tasked with analyzing and defining the fashion history of a particular era. Each student will be assigned to study the background and influences (social, cultural, and historical) of fashion in a specific period of time.
The aim of the final project is to expose students to a complete fashion design process. Students required to plan a Capsule Collection for Spring Summer 2024. In a group, student required to follow and complete the stage in order from forecast latest trend, idea development, creating brand personality, designing and final styling
The primary objective of the final project is to give students a holistic understanding of the fashion design process. Collaborating in groups, students will undertake the task of planning a captivating Capsule Collection for Spring Summer 2024. In a systematic manner, they will progress through various stages, commencing with trend forecasting, followed by idea development, establishment of a unique brand personality, the actual design process, and culminating in the final styling of the collection. This comprehensive project will grant students invaluable hands-on experience, immersing them in the world of fashion design and equipping them with practical skills for their creative journey.
